Fairfield High School

      Pastoral

Fairfield prides itself on the quality of its pastoral care, guidance and support for pupils. Ofsted judged the personal-development and wellbeing of pupils to be outstanding.

We have a Director of Progress for Upper and Lower School (Years 7-11), who has an overview of the pupils' academic progress as well as their pastoral care. The Director of Progress leads teams of Assistant Directors of Progress and Progress Coordinators who work closely with Form Tutors in each Year Group. Each Key Stage is supported by a Learning Mentor. At Senior Leadership Team level we have an Assistant Headteacher, who has specific responsibility for Individual Student Welfare, Guidance and Needs. The school is also supported by a dedicated Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer.
