Fairfield High School

      Pastoral

Fairfield prides itself on the quality of its pastoral care, guidance and support for pupils. Ofsted judged the personal-development and wellbeing of pupils to be outstanding.

We have a Director of Progress for Upper and Lower School (Years 7-11), who has an overview of the pupils' academic progress as well as their pastoral care. The Director of Progress leads a team of Progress Coordinators who work closely with Form Tutors in each Year Group. Each Key Stage is supported by a Learning Mentor. At Senior Leadership Team level we have an Assistant Headteacher, who has specific responsibility for Individual Student Welfare, Guidance and Needs. The school is also supported by a dedicated Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer.
