Old Girls' Association

Fairfield Old Girls' Association is long established and still thriving. It was set up to help former pupils maintain contact with each other and with the school. We also celebrate the unique history of the school (which celebrated its bicentenary in 1996) by preserving archive materials which, from this Summer, will be on permanent display in the original school building on the landing outside the Head's study.

We have two reunions a year held at the school, one in Spring and one in Autumn. These are a great opportunity to meet up with old friends. Archives are on display and refreshments are available. As we are a non-profit making association, all proceeds are donated to a charitable cause chosen each year by our members at the AGM. New members are always welcome. It only costs £3 a year to join which is just to cover the cost of the annual newsletter that is sent out to all members.

Our next meeting is the Autumn Reunion to be held on Saturday 10th October 2009 at 2pm in the School Hall. On this occasion we have arranged for a visit to the new Moravian Museum located in Fairfield Square. There will also be a Bring and Buy sale.

The Spring Reunion is to be held in the Drama Studio on Saturday 24th April 2010 at 2pm. The AGM is held on this occasion before the social event begins.
