We are looking to recruit an experienced professional with financial expertise to join our high-performing Senior Leadership Team, supporting us in creating and developing the longer term vision for the school.

The role involves managing an annual budget of over £6 million. We are a single academy trust and have an experienced team of support staff. You will see from the job description the position is wide and varied in nature, a combination of both strategic leadership and operational management. The right candidate will have a record of inspiring staff to improve, innovate and develop whilst being able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills, ensuring the best possible use of our financial and physical resources. You will be resilient, flexible and be able to prioritise a demanding workload. You will have the confidence to remodel new ways of working and have experience of managing a range of experienced multi-disciplinary teams.

You will contribute to the development of teaching and learning within the school whilst ensuring that decisions are based on sound judgement and financial reality. Working collaboratively both internally and externally, you will be able to enhance the school’s reputation by sharing experience and best practice.

Educated to degree level with a relevant accounting qualification and ideally experience of working within the education sector. We are aware that potential applicants may not have expertise in all areas covered within the job description and are willing to work with and support the right person in utilising their strengths and developing other areas, where required.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding and passionate Teacher of Science to join our highly motivated, academically successful and forward-thinking Science Faculty. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, inspiring and able to teach all sciences across the KS3 curriculum, including Biology at KS4. To facilitate this we are able to provide high quality CPD to support the right candidate in improving their knowledge and skills in this subject area. This is a permanent full-time contract, however part-time requests of 0.8 will be considered – please address this in your application.
